Ts & Cs
Boarding Policy (Terms and Conditions)
All animals must be fully vaccinated. This must include kennel cough nasal vaccine for dogs at least 10 days prior to the start of boarding. Vaccination certificates must be shown at the time of boarding and each time the animal is boarded.
Please ensure they have had full flea and worming treatment with an ongoing flea and worm protection. If we find that your animal has fleas or worms we will treat it and its bedding, following vet advice, and you will be charged accordingly.
We want to make your pet’s stay an enjoyable one, please let us know if they have any special likes or dislikes and you are welcome to bring a few of your pets favourite things with them such as toys, blankets and treats as this can help them feel more at home.
Medication: We are happy to give your pet medication as required. There is no charge for medication given during your pet’s stay with us.
Health insurance: we have insurance cover for all our boarders, this policy will cover them for any illness or injury whilst under our care. Please be aware that any pre-existing illnesses or injuries will not be covered by this insurance. Please note that in the absence of insurance cover, any vets fees will be payable by the owner.
Veterinary cover: we have access to an emergency vet and won’t hesitate to take your pet to the vet at any time if needed. In the first instance we will try to use your pet’s own vet but if this is not possible we will use our own vets, Luke and Anna-Marie at Mount’s Bay Veterinary Practice.
Check Out: is between 8 am to 10 am, and 4 to 5 pm Monday to Friday. On Saturdays and Sundays we are only open to human traffic between 8 and 10 am. If you check out after 10 am we will have to charge for the full day.
Non Collection of Pets: If your pet is not collected within 21 days of the due date of departure and we have not received any communication and/or payment for your pet’s ongoing care we will assume that he or she has been abandoned. Following attempts by ourselves to contact you and your nominated emergency contact, we will endeavour to find an appropriate home for your pet.
